Professional Pediatric Home Care (PPHC) announced today that it is being acquired by PSA Healthcare. The combination of the two companies leads an effort to expand the services that both companies offer and provide even more complete care to the families and children each company serves.
If you’re a family already receiving care from PPHC you may be wondering what’s changing. The answer is very little. In fact, you may not even realize that anything is new. You will continue to have your favorite caregivers. You will continue to have the same high level of care that you’ve come to expect from PPHC. Even the name of our company will be the same for the foreseeable future.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our caregivers and for our families and patients. We can provide a wider array of services than were previously able to offer. And, we share a culture of patient excellence and medical sophistication that will ultimately benefit everyone. There will be many opportunities going forward for all involved.”Mark Bruning, PPHC President and CEO
Over time you may see some new things like new point-of-care technology. Caregivers will also have more access to training and education and you will see a wider range of services available to you. Above all, the clinical excellence and the quality of people and service you’ve come to expect won’t change. It will only be enhanced with PSA Healthcare.
PSA Healthcare: Dedicated to Providing the Best Home Care
Many of you may have already heard about PSA Healthcare. Like PPHC, PSA Healthcare is a leader in providing the highest quality pediatric care in Colorado. Unlike PPHC, PSA is a national company with more than 70 locations in 16 states across the nation. PSA delivers approximately 170,000 hours of pediatric and adult care every single week. Known for its commitment to training, trust and compassion, PSA had been providing care for more than 30 years.
Patients and Families
By uniting forces, both PPHC and PSA will be able to offer a wider variety of services to your family. Here are just a few of the benefits you’ll experience as a result:
- National Clinical Support
- Stronger Care Network
- Additional Education and Training for Caregivers
- New Point-of-Care Devices
Notably, joining with PSA will give us access to their Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Program that many of our families ask about. Approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, this program allows qualified candidates (parents, relatives and others) to receive training to become a paid caregiver for their medically fragile child.
One Team: United for Better Home Care
We’re excited about the future. With PPHC and PSA joining as one, we are now a clear leader in pediatric care both in Colorado and in the nation. We are both united in our care, compassion and deep concern for families like yours who we are privileged to serve. Your family remains in good hands.
